Dejan Glavas is a second year Ph.D candidate in the Finance Departement at ESCP Europe under the supervision of Professor Franck Bancel. He is affiliated with the Laboratory of Excellence for Financial Regulation (Labex Refi).
Dejan Glavas introduces the European Central Bank’s history, and its various conventional and non-standard policy measures. The paper also looks at how these unconventional measures appeared, and at how the ECB helped the Eurozone.. go through the European sovereign debt crisis. The paper finally provides some policy recommendations on potential ways for the ECB to help address the ecological crisis we are facing today.
