Trésorière et responsable de l'Observatoire de la gauche européenne, Elisabeth Humbert-Dorfmüller est spécialiste de l'espace germanophone. Elle est membre du SPD (Parti Social-Démocrate d'Allemagne), et actuellement co-présidente de la section SPD à Paris, ainsi que co-présidente du SPD International, l'organisation du SPD à l'étranger. Elle est aujourd'hui consultante (Associée-Gérante chez SEE Conseil), et cultive par ailleurs un intérêt particulier pour la politique franco-allemande, pour l'économie et pour les entreprises.
